Reuben Christopher Langdon is a stunt actor, motion capture actor, actor, martial artist and voice actor for various martial arts films, television shows, and video games.Reuben Langdon's best known role to date is that of Dante from the Devil May Cry video game series. Langdon performs both the voice and motion capture for Dante in Devil May Cry 3 and 4. Langdon also provided Dante's English voice in the anime adaptation of Devil May Cry (although he is credited as 'Justin Cause'). He also provided motion capture for the video games Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Dead Rising.

Roger Craig Smith is an American voice actor. He is also known as Roger C. Smith. He is generally known as the voice behind Chris Redfield in Resident Evil 5. Other Roles include Seiji in Kurokami and Guilford in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.

Will Lupardus was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  With acting being a focus, Will has been cast in seven independent film projects including 'Cold Heart Canyon' by Janine Gosselin, 'Little Boys' by Jonathon Chaupin, 'Relapse' by Noman Meyers, and of course, 'Westsider' by Charles Doran. He plays Chris Redfield in the promotional Viral Campaign.

Member of the threatrical group "Actor's Consortium" since 2006, Michelle Van der Water was selected to be the model for Sheva Alomar.

In the Viral Campaign she was played by Naja Hill.

Ken Lally got into stunts by accident. His lifelong passion for martial arts and fighting took him to Benny the Jet Urquidez's kick boxing gym in North Hollywood, where he trained and fought under Sensei Benny's watchful eye for nearly nine years; all the while performing martial arts stunts, falls and other gags for the legendary, 5 time world kick boxing champion. Shakespeare and film are his first two loves, but stunts were just too much fun to say "no" to whenever they called. He is also an avid fencer and fences once a week with a local sword master.
Ken spends his days off teaching stunt-fighting for film, or 'acting for action', at the New York Film Academy's campus on the Warner Brother's lot in L.A. He trains boxing and kick boxing every day and gets together once a week to put on the gloves and spar with the other members of Benny the Jet's stunt team.

D.C. Douglas has a prolific voice over career, from television and radio commercials to voice matching celebrities like Val Kilmer and Kevin Spacey. Recent credits include The Master in the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" video game, Albert Wesker in "Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles" and "Resident Evil 5", AWACS Ghost Eye in "Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation", Commandant Alexei in Tales of Vesperia, as well as several national campaigns and 100s of commercials.

Patricia Ja Lee (also known as Pajama Lee) is a Korean-American model/actress. She is probably best known for her role as Cassie Chan, the Pink Ranger on the television series Power Rangers: Turbo and Power Rangers: In Space. Patricia recently appeared in an advertisement for Oscar Mayer bologna as a spelling bee judge. The commercial was shown on various channels in the U.S. in 2007. Her most recent project was Resident Evil 5, in which she was the voice and motion capture actress for Jill Valentine.

Julia Voth is a Canadian-born actress and model currently living in Los Angeles. Her modelling career has included photoshoots and commercials for brands such as Calvin Klein and Shiseido. She is best known for her motion capture model work as Jill Valentine for the Resident Evil video game series. Even if Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 5 has blond hair, the face is almost the same seen in  previous titles after the remake for Gamecube.

Allan Groves is an actor who provided the voice, modeling, and motion capture for Ricardo Irving for Resident Evil 5.

Theodore Jasper "T.J." Storm is an American actor. His father was African American and his mother Puerto Rican, although he was later adopted by a Native American Caucasian Mother and a Mexican American father. His childhood hero was Bruce Lee and as a child he learned how to play the piano. He also earned a dance scholarship and trained in Jazz and Ballet. Storm went on to train in several martial arts styles. His skills at martial arts led to him being inducted into the Martial Arts Masters Hall of fame three times. Storm soon decided to pursue a career in acting, appearing in movies like Bloodrayne and Miss Cast Away. He has also lent his voice and provided motion capture for several video games, the most notable of which are Dead Rising, Devil May Cry 4 and Resident Evil 5 (voice and motion capture for Josh Stone).

Come è accaduto con Resident Evil 4, la NecaToys scende in campo anche con Resident Evil 5, proponendo immediatamente 3 modelli non propiro esaltanti... eccezion fatta per il Boia (Executioner) che non è niente male.

Molto più curate e somiglianti (e costose, circa 150 dollari a pezzo) sono invece le action figures in scala 1/6 della Hot Toys, attualmente in prenotazione (usciranno dal prossimo inverno).

Come trapela inoltre dall'Hong Kong Ani-Com 09, la stessa Hot Toys sarebbe già al lavoro sulle versioni S.T.A.R.S. di Chris Redfield e Albert Wesker, mostrate in versioni prototipo all'esposizione cinese. La dotazione di Chris, come si vede dall'immagine, comprende il mitragliatore pesante Gatling e la giacca da civile con la quale lo si vede per pochi istanti in Resident Evil 5.

Sin dall'uscita dei controversi film basati su Resident Evil il popolo dei fan si è sempre confrontato riguardo gli attori e le attrici più adatte per incarnare i personaggi della serie in una eventuale e remota trasposizione cinematografica fedele al videogioco. Navigando in giro per la rete mi sono imbattuto in un forum in cui alcuni utenti (tra cui un certo HailtotheKing) si erano dati da fare per ricercare gli artisti più assomiglianti ai personaggi di Resident Evil.

Espressioni simili, pettinature, atteggiamenti: tutto fa brodo per ricercare una somiglianza che possa rendere plausibili alcuni attori come possibili pretendenti al cast di Resident Evil al posto di altri. Ma al di là di queste discussioni puramente da forum, esiste un popolo di appassionati che ama fabbricare da sè i propri costumi e, somiglianti o meno, adora indossare le vesti di personaggi dei videogiochi, dei fumetti e degli anime giapponesi in generale: i cosplayer.

In questa sezione ho scelto (a mio insindacabile gusto e giudizio eheh) alcuni dei cosplayer più somiglianti ai personaggi di Resident Evil 5.
